I never thought I would be able to create my own web pages and after seeing all the beautiful work people have done at PI International I decided to take the challenge. Signing up for the HTML Basics Class at the Visual Arts Academy was my first step. My instructor, MaryLou White is so amazing. With her guidance I was able to complete the class, create a very nice looking web site and to top it off, had so much fun doing it. I was very proud of what I had accomplished in that class. But then MaryLou said there is more I can teach you in the next class. Well I was hooked.
The next class was the HTML Tables and More. In this class MaryLou taught us how to have more control over our web pages and bring them to life. She goes above and beyond in helping her students. MaryLou is always there for you, answering all your questions and making suggestions. The background tile for the pages on this site was created by her for me. I would also like to give credit to my classmates, Ginger and Sheryl for their continuous support, encouragement and sincere opinions. They made the class such a pleasure to take. With MaryLou’s guidance we all made quite a team and hopefully formed lasting friendships.
Through MaryLou’s two classes I have accomplished more than I ever imagined. The goal of this web site was to show how my mother has followed her dream and now I am on the path to following mine. Thank you so much MaryLou, Ginger and Sheryl.
